Overview
In 2008 the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum was to reopen after a £14 million second phase of refurbishment, which included a number of permanent displays.
Juga Singh was asked to photograph objects from collections that would be part of interactive displays, digital experiences and reproductions. Working with the curators to understand what elements were important, the photography was completed on an adhoc basis from 2006 to 2008.
