Overview
A 2017 commemorative publication of ‘Empire, Faith & War: The Sikhs and World War One’ project by UK Punjab Heritage Association, funded by a grant of £448,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Indian troops comprised one in every six of Britain’s wartime forces. With the outbreak of hostilities Sikhs were approximately 20% of the Indian armed forces. The project was to collate, document and share the common wartime connections.
The completion of the project in 2017 the commemorative publication was to celebrate the work of the project and its impact; with the design formed from the brand identity, exhibition design and infographics (also by Juga).
